We are located at the entry to the foothills of the Sierra Nevadas, in our the rural urban interface of Loomis, CA. We serve the Sacramento region, and beyond by request.

  • As the designer and plant nerd, Sophie is frequently inspired by the native landscapes throughout California. Specializing in California native, naturalistic and drought tolerant plant design, she is constantly honing her knowledge while tinkering in her outdoor laboratory. With a B.S. in Landscape Architecture from the University of California at Davis, she has been able to unite her passion for the visual arts and fascination for the natural world. Sophie has spent the last decade working with the community to provide residential landscapes that fit in to our California context yet stand out among the crowd.

  • Matt is our builder, maintaining integrity throughout the process. With over 10 year of experience in landscape construction he has built a reputation that instills trust with special attention given to clients with our shared goals in mind. Inspired by his time at UC Santa Cruz earning a B.A. in Philosophy, he takes a thoughtful approach to creating landscapes that stay true to our objectives.
